The Best Eggnog ~ Ever!

Makes about Two Gallons

Ingredients
  • 3 dozen egg yolks
  • 6 quarts whole milk
  • 1 quart Half & Half
  • 1 pound sugar (2¼ cups)
  • Fifth of Bourbon...buy the cheap stuff
  • 1 pint rum...the cheap stuff works fine

Directions

In a large bowl, mix together egg yolks, milk, Half & Half, and sugar.  Using an electric hand mixer, beat on high until mixture is well blended.

Stir in bourbon and rum.  Blend well.

Pour mixture into covered containers.

This eggnog can be kept in your refrigerator for several days or weeks.  Cheers!
