Easy Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • hot red pepper flakes, to taste
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used 5, but they were huge!)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 8 oz. mozzarella, shredded
  • 4 oz. Parmesan, grated
  • 1 (5-oz) package garlic croutons 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
In the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish, spread the olive oil and garlic.  Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
Place chicken breasts evenly in the dish.  Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken, then top with basil.
Sprinkle 4 oz. of the mozzarella and 4 oz. of the Parmesan over the sauce. 
Add croutons, then remaining cheeses. 
Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
